The Greenville-Butler County Public Library is inviting everyone to come out and celebrate a “galaxy far,far away” on its 7th Annual Star Wars Day Saturday. The event starts at 11 a.m.

A variety of activities are planned, including Star Wars crafts, a Star Wars Treasure Hunt, and Raffle for Star Wars prizes.

“We have lots of prizes to give away and, of course, we’ll be spotlighting our Star Wars collection of books and movies that will be available for check out,” said Library Director Kevin Pearcey.

Star Wars-inspired snacks will be provided.

Star Wars Day caps off what has been an eventful two months, said Pearcey, with hundreds of children and parents participating in summer activities.
