Current library hours and procedures
7/16/2020

The Library is currently open 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday thru Friday. As COVID-19 is still circulating in our area, please keep in mind we are operating under different-than-normal circumstances and, as such, we have temporarily changed certain procedures with regards to patron and staff safety.

Best practice is for you to come in the library, conduct business in a timely manner and exit the facility. We cannot accommodate groups or patrons who wish to linger or stay in the library. Some changes of note:

  • Maintain social distancing (min. 6 feet between other patrons)

  • All bathrooms are closed to the public.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling at all times.

  • Computer time limits are 30 minutes (45 if no one is waiting) due to limited computer availability.

  • Limit one computer user per family.

  • Staff are unable to assist with computer issues, printing or copying due to a need to maintain social distancing. (Staff have access to a copier and if you wish us to make copies for you at the circulation desk, please ask).

  • All fines for overdue materials have temporarily been suspended and are being waived.

  • Per the Governor's statewide health order issued July 15, we strongly encourage ALL patrons to wear masks.

We are still offering Curbside Service to our patrons for materials, and advise elderly patrons or those with an underlying health condition to take advantage of this service! (Our number is: 382-3216)

We hope to resume regular operations as soon as possible, but we ask for your patience and understanding during this national health emergency.
