The Greenville-Butler Co. Public Library is governed by a Board of Trustees, established through a joint ordinance by the City of Greenville and the Butler County Commission. Current members of the Board of Trustees are:

The Greenville-Butler County Public Library Board of Trustees meets the third Monday of every month at 4 p.m. in the Alabama Room. No meetings are held in July/December.
