Grant to benefit teen users at library |
10/1/2021 |
GBCPL Children's & Youth Services Coordinator Johnathan Grace & Library Director Kevin Pearcey (not pictured) met with a trio of Greenville High School students in early October to discuss services, programs, and materials the library could provide that would attract a greater amount of teen users to the library. The library plans on using a $3,000 grant received through the American Library Association (ALA) to benefit teen programs and teen access to the library. Pearcey said the ideas generated from this conversation will help the library in 2022 with providing innovative programs to teens and young adults.
