Summer Reading 2018

The GBCPL’s Summer Reading Program is an excellent way to help your child stop the dreaded “summer slide” when it comes to reading. According to the U.S. Dept. of Education, “Summer is an important time for students to keep reading and improve their language skills” and can help prevent a decline in their reading skills.

This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock!” Register your child and come join us this summer for some fun crafts, snacks, stories, and music, led by our program coordinator and local teacher Krystal Thagard. The library will really be rocking this summer!
